This Privacy Policy explains how ManusPad ("ManusPad", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the ManusPad iPad application and related support, subscription, and content-delivery services.

- ManusPad Premium subscription flows;
- template catalog, thumbnail, and template PDF delivery;
- support communications about the app; and
- related operational services used to run the app.

3. Information We Collect
A. Content you create in the app
ManusPad stores the content you create primarily on your device. This may include:
- pad names and project names;
- drawing and handwriting data;
- page counts and notebook metadata;
- selected templates; and
- drawing-related preferences and template category preferences.
In normal use, we do not upload your notes or drawings to our servers just to provide the core drawing experience.
B. Subscription and purchase information
If you use ManusPad Premium, we use Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We and our service providers may receive information such as:
- product identifiers;
- offering and package information;
- subscription status and entitlement status;
- purchase and restore events; and
- introductory offer or free trial eligibility information.
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number or other full payment credentials.
C. Device, app, and operational information
To operate the app, check access status, and support the service, the app may collect or transmit:
- a device/app identifier based on
identifierForVendor, or a locally generated fallback ID if needed; - app version;
- operating system version;
- device type and hardware model identifier; and
- locale information.
When the app launches, limited technical and operational information may be sent to our servers to help us run the service, support the app, and troubleshoot issues when needed.
D. Remote content and service requests
The app may request remote resources such as:
- the template catalog;
- template thumbnails;
- template PDF files;
- app version information; and
- App Store lookup information used to open the App Store update page.
These requests may include technical request data that is normally sent over the internet, such as IP address and user-agent level connection metadata handled by your device, Apple, or the relevant hosting providers.
E. Support information
If you contact support, we may collect:
- your email address;
- the contents of your message;
- screenshots, attachments, or exported files you choose to send; and
- any troubleshooting details you voluntarily provide.
F. Information we do not intentionally request for core use
Based on the current app code, ManusPad does not request access to Contacts, Photos, Camera, Microphone, Health data, or Location data for normal app functionality.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the app's local notebook, drawing, and template functionality;
- deliver template catalogs, thumbnails, and template PDFs;
- determine Premium entitlement and restore purchases;
- show available subscription plans, pricing, and trial messaging;
- check app version and route users to the App Store for updates;
- monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and reduce abuse;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we generally rely on:
- performance of a contract with you;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving ManusPad;
- your consent, where required; and
- compliance with legal obligations.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Apple, to process in-app purchases, renewals, and refunds under Apple's systems;
- RevenueCat, to help manage subscription status and entitlements;
- hosting, storage, and content-delivery providers that help us serve templates, operational endpoints, or support materials;
- professional advisors or authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or the service; and
- a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising based on the current app implementation.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data as follows:
- locally stored notebooks, drawings, and settings stay on your device until you delete them, remove the app, or reset the relevant data;
- downloaded template files and caches stay on your device until they are removed by the app, cleared by the operating system, or deleted when the app is removed;
- temporary export files may remain in temporary storage until you delete them or the operating system clears temporary storage;
- subscription-related records are retained for as long as needed to provide access, handle support, prevent fraud, meet accounting obligations, and comply with law;
- support emails and attachments are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, document the issue, and protect our rights; and
- operational server-side identifiers and launch/access logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for service operations, security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
If you want us to delete server-side data we control, email [email protected]. To help us identify your record, include your app user ID if available.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability.
You can also:
- delete notebooks and projects inside the app;
- remove the app to delete locally stored app data from your device, subject to your device and backup settings;
- manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings; and
- contact us to request deletion of server-side data or to ask questions about our processing.
If we rely on consent where consent is required, you can withdraw that consent at any time, but this will not affect processing that already occurred before withdrawal.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
ManusPad is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age in the relevant jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected].

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
