These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ManusPad iPad application, ManusPad Premium, and related services made available with the app.
By downloading, accessing, or using ManusPad, you agree to these Terms.
1. Relationship With Apple's Terms
If you download ManusPad from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store rules and the Apple Standard EULA, unless and until a valid custom EULA is applied to the app in App Store Connect.
If these Terms conflict with any mandatory Apple requirement or mandatory consumer law, the mandatory rule controls to the extent of that conflict.
2. Eligibility
You may use ManusPad only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and use the app in compliance with applicable law.
3. License to Use ManusPad
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ManusPad on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely as permitted by the App Store terms and these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, redistribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app except as allowed by law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- interfere with the app, its subscription systems, or its related services; or
- use the app in a way that violates law or the rights of others.
4. App Features
ManusPad is a handwriting, note-taking, and template-based pad application. Some features work fully on-device, while some features depend on internet connectivity, including template delivery, subscription checks, support resources, and version checks.
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including template availability, pricing displays, or Premium offerings.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the notes, drawings, exports, and other content you create in ManusPad.
You are responsible for the legality of your content and for keeping any backups or exports you want to retain. ManusPad is not a guaranteed backup or archival service.
If you voluntarily send us files, screenshots, or exports for support, you grant us a limited right to use them only as needed to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service.
6. Premium Subscriptions
ManusPad may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly and annual plans, through Apple In-App Purchase.
The subscription terms shown to you at checkout in the app and in the App Store are part of your purchase and control where they are more specific, including:
- the subscription title;
- the subscription length;
- the subscription price and, where shown, price per unit;
- any free trial or introductory offer details; and
- any localized tax-inclusive pricing presented by Apple.
By purchasing a subscription, you understand and agree that:
- payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase;
- subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
- your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
- you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings;
- free trials or introductory offers, if available, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial or offer period ends;
- eligibility for trials or introductory offers may be determined by Apple, RevenueCat, or both; and
- refunds are handled by Apple unless otherwise required by law.
The app also includes a "Restore purchases" flow. Restoring purchases does not guarantee a refund, but it can re-enable access when Apple and the subscription systems report an active entitlement.
If your Premium subscription ends, expires, is canceled, or is otherwise no longer active, Premium features may stop, Premium templates may become unavailable, and content outside the free-tier access rules may become read-only or otherwise limited until Premium is reactivated.
We may change subscription offerings, plan structure, feature scope, or pricing prospectively. Where required, Apple will request your consent before certain price increases take effect.
7. Templates, Updates, and Remote Content
ManusPad may display, download, cache, or remove templates, thumbnails, and related resources delivered from remote servers. Template availability may change over time.
The app may also require or strongly encourage updates in order to continue working properly. Some versions may stop functioning fully if compatibility, security, or service requirements change.
8. Privacy
Your use of ManusPad is also governed by the ManusPad Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The ManusPad app, its branding, interface, code, and the templates and materials provided by us or our licensors are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted above, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManusPad is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
We do not guarantee that:
- the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free;
- every template or remote service will always remain available;
- exported files will meet every third-party requirement; or
- the app is suitable for any specific legal, professional, archival, or regulatory purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of ManusPad.
Where the law allows limitation of direct damages, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to ManusPad will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for ManusPad Premium during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using ManusPad at any time by removing the app and canceling any active subscription through Apple.
We may suspend or terminate access to related services if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms, misusing the app, or creating legal, security, or operational risk.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, subscription payments already incurred, and dispute-related provisions required by law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
